Clinical Studies at Magnolia Parke
In Progress:
Maternal circulatory adaptations in pregnancies conceived spontaneously OR by assisted reproductive technologies (ART): (Donor Egg and Standard). This study is enrolling three groups of women who are either planning to conceive spontaneously or are undergoing in-vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures to achieve pregnancy. The first group is for women age 21-40 seeking pregnancy for the first time (or > 10 years since last pregnancy. The next two groups are those women undergoing standard IVF or IVF with donor eggs, and are age 50 or younger. This study will evaluate whether there may be an increase or decrease in a certain hormone that helps the functioning of a woman's heart, blood vessels, and kidneys. The purpose of the research is to study how a woman's heart, blood vessels and kidneys work before, during and after pregnancy and to determine the amount of this hormone in the body. Compensation will be provided after each assessment.
