Kenneth C. Drury, Ph.D.

Dr. Drury received his undergraduate degree at Westmont College in Santa Barbara,
California. Following active military duty he pursued a Ph.D. degree in molecular
embryology at the Zoology Institute under Drs. Fischberg and Crippa at the University of
Geneva in Switzerland. He completed his postdoctoral training in the Department of Molecular
Biology under Dr. John Gerhart at the University of California, Berkeley. Following
positions with Bay Area biotechnology companies ( CODON and Microgenics), Dr. Drury
trained in human IVF in California and subsequently became director of the IVF laboratory
at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Following 6 years at Louisville, Dr. Drury
took his present position as Director of IVF and Andrology Laboratories at Shands Hospital
at the University of Florida. In 1995 he earned national certification in Embryology and
Andrology from the American Board of Bioanalysis. His current clinical and research
interests revolve around the relatively new field of Preimplantation
Genetic Diagnosis
